"I'd not really get into that much trouble though, would I? Not yet. I'm underage, I go to this school. Boys will be boys, slap on the wrist. Detention for a while." Not exactly something to fear. "I'd just feign ignorance and swear repentance." He grinned, showing what he actually thought of that notion. "Anyway, I like the risk. Gives me a reason to think up ways to get away with it."
Really just a mental exercise. "Anyway, a lot of the travellers are smarter than anyone at this school. More life experience too. That one kid, Jonathan O'Shea, he's going to make it big one day."
"Right. Suuuure." Well, it sounded like utter bullshit but he found it funny that Barty was so into these sort of things. Such a rebel. Always actively pursuing the wild things and fighting for chaos. Sam always found law and order a more safer thing to base his life on.
"Look, you want to go then you can go. I'm sure you'll have an enlightening evening. Whenever you go." Sam suggested as he sat up and started to walk over to his bed so he could sit himself down. "Me, I've had enough excitement for one day. I'm knackered."
"I'm not going today, darling." Barty sat up, not enthused over Sam moving away from him. "I mean, I could have, I'm sure it would be fun. But I've learned from you how much fun it is to plan an evening out ahead of time and my plan for this evening is snogging with the nearest boy who's willing and eager and then reading a bit before bed."
He leaned forward, arms propped on his knees and eyebrows arched. "What do you reckon? Think I could get lucky?"
"Heh. Not a chance." Sam laughed playfully and shook his head as he sat on his bed and ran his fingers through his hair, just destressing a little. "You'll live another night without snogging me, I'm sure."
Sam grabbed the book by his bedside table and opened it up. Two could play the aloof guy reading a book and it was his turn now. Ha!
"With you? Or do I have to go out and find someone cute and willing?" Well, he was ready to go looking, should need be. Or at least he was ready to tease Sam a bit as he got to his feet, glancing at the book he was holding. "You read upside down?"
He did not, but we wanted to wind him. And then he moved onto the bed, on top of Sam, pushing the book aside so he could kiss him while trying to pin him down. Mature, sure. But also very entertaining.
"Am not. Tosser." He could see that the words were the right way up but he did have a brief moment of panic. Luckily, he kept his cook. He flipped a page in the annoying way that Barty always did before his book was pushed aside by a very persistent Barty.
The kiss was nice but Sam still rolled his eyes and gently shoved Barty back with his legs. Or tried to. "Oi, no means no, you persistent scoundrel." Not that he minded. It was a bit fun. Just a bit.
"Persistent scoundrel?!" Barty mimicked it in the same tone, entirely too amused not to mock that a little. "Guess I am. Aren't you a lucky fellow? You'd never get to snog if I listened to you."
He felt that was a good point well made, so he kissed Sam again, smiling as he did so. Sure, he could have tried to make this more sexual, but it was playing around more than anything. He had never really felt that way before, but with Sam it was fun to simply be near him.
He always had such a nice kiss, gentle and sweet. He found that fascinating, he expected Barty to be a bit rough and a bit more insistent, maybe some bite or whatever. No, he was romantic. Sam liked that a lot about it.
Not enough to not shove him off and gently bash him on the head with his book. "Alright, you've had enough. Stop getting fresh and bugger off." Before he ended up with a night-long boner or something.
