Eleven looked at Barty curiously. If that was his papa then what did that make them? She liked the idea of someone like her. It felt safe. Safer than she had ever felt. She just didn't know if she could trust him. Even if she wanted to, she knew adults lied. People lied. She looked at him and then looked out the door at the men. She didn't want them to lock her away any more.
