That was always the worse part, the boredom - waiting for the inevitable pain. "He's a person who feels emotions and pain and exists in this world. It's people like you that ruined him. They were owed their life back, they lost it when they were young and it was impossible to get back. He'd tried, it was never quite right. Nothing was safe, nothing was like the books. It wasn't fair.
